Surprise Me!
Brooks has a new saying. If he wants a snack, he'll say, "I need something to eat. Surprise me!" So, you have to guess what snack he might like and come back from the kitchen with the snack behind your back and say, "Surprise!" It worked well for about a week. Now, he is getting pickier about the surprise, and wants to be surprised again, and again, and again, until you find what he has pictured in his mind. I tried to narrow it down by asking him if he wants a healthy surprise (carrots, corn, peanuts) or an unhealthy surprise (fruit roll-up). Now, I give up after the second surprise, and tell him he needs to pick it out for himself.
